Sarosh Abrar received her Bachelor of Arts (Honours) from York University.
She then continued her education at the University of Windsor to earn a Bachelor of Laws.
As a law student Sarosh worked at Community Legal Aid where she advocated for clients in
the areas of small claims, criminal defence, and landlord-tenant matters.

She was recognized for her litigation and advocacy skills while working at Legal Assistance of
Windsor in the areas of social benefits, criminal injuries compensation, immigration, and tenancy law.
Sarosh has successfully conducted trials in criminal, social benefits, tenancy, and small claims matters.
Sarosh focused on her litigation skills throughout law school and while articling.

Sarosh currently practices in the areas of family law, criminal defence, civil litigaton, and small claims.
Sarosh is a member of the Criminal Lawyers Association, Ontario Bar Association, Canadian Association of South Asian Lawyers, and Canadians Against Immigration Fraud.
Outside of the practice of law, Sarosh has been active in the community. She has volunteered with The Riverdale Immigrant Women's Centre and The Heart and Stroke Foundation.
